These Terms of Service govern your use of bridgesourceauto.co.za and purchases from BridgeSource Global (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/534327/07, trading as BridgeSource Auto (“BridgeSource Auto”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using our website, submitting a sourcing request or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot lawfully be limited under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or other applicable South African law.

  1. ELIGIBILITY

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

  1. PRODUCTS AND INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to describe products accurately. Images, colours, dimensions and packaging may differ slightly because of screens, manufacturing updates or supplier changes.

Vehicle parts can differ by model, year, engine, series, gearbox and market specification. Customers must provide accurate compatibility information, including OEM or part numbers where available.

No website description should be interpreted as a guarantee of compatibility unless BridgeSource Auto has confirmed compatibility in writing based on complete and accurate information supplied by the customer.

  1. REQUEST A PART AND SOURCING ENQUIRIES

Submitting a Request a Part form is an enquiry and does not create an order or payment obligation.

We may investigate availability, compatibility, supplier pricing, delivery estimates and sourcing options. Any quotation is subject to the stated validity period, supplier availability and final confirmation.

A sourcing request becomes an order only after the customer accepts the quotation and completes any required payment.

  1. ORDERS

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received your order but does not necessarily confirm final acceptance.

We may contact you where information is incomplete, compatibility requires confirmation, stock is unavailable or an obvious pricing or description error has occurred.

If we cannot accept or fulfil an order after payment, we will offer an appropriate alternative, extension or refund.

  1. PRE-ORDERS AND BATCH ORDERS

Certain products may be sold through a pre-order or batch-order model. The relevant product page or offer will disclose the order closing date, estimated delivery period, minimum-order requirement and any product-specific conditions.

If a minimum order is not reached, we may offer customers the option to extend the order period, accept a suitable alternative or receive a refund. We will not materially change an accepted order without the customer’s agreement.

Delivery dates for sourced, pre-order and batch-order goods are estimates and may be affected by manufacturing, international transport, customs clearance and courier delays.

  1. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in South African rand unless stated otherwise.

Payment may be processed by Yoco or another payment provider made available through Shopify. Payment providers process transactions under their own terms, privacy and security practices.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information supplied is accurate.

We may correct an obvious pricing error before fulfilment. If an error affects a paid order, we will contact you and allow you to accept the corrected price or receive a refund.

  1. DELIVERY

We deliver only to locations supported by the delivery options shown at checkout.

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and contact number. We are not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Delivery periods are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. We will communicate material delays where reasonably possible.

Risk in physical goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated address or authorised recipient, subject to applicable law.

  1. INSPECTION AND DELIVERY ISSUES

Please inspect goods promptly after delivery. If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 48 hours, with the order number, description and photographs.

This request assists with courier and supplier investigations and does not remove statutory consumer rights.

  1. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law. That policy forms part of these Terms.

Special-order, personalised or sourced products may be subject to lawful return exclusions disclosed before purchase. Statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed goods remain unaffected.

  1. WARRANTIES

Products are covered by warranties expressly stated on the product page, quotation or supporting documentation, together with any non-excludable statutory warranties.

Warranty claims may require proof of purchase, photographs, testing information or return of the item for assessment.

A warranty may not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, unauthorised modification, accident, neglect or use contrary to instructions, where permitted by law.

  1. INSTALLATION AND USE

Automotive parts should be fitted and inspected by a suitably qualified person where appropriate.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation, modification and use comply with manufacturer instructions, vehicle requirements and applicable road-safety laws.

Nothing in this clause limits liability where BridgeSource Auto supplied defective goods or incorrect written guidance.

  1. WEBSITE USE

You may use the website only for lawful personal or business purchasing purposes.

You may not:

• Interfere with the website’s operation or security
• Introduce malicious code
• Attempt unauthorised access
• Use false information or another person’s payment details
• Scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission
• Use the website for fraud or unlawful activity

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the business or the website.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The BridgeSource Auto name, branding, website design, original photographs, written content and other original materials belong to BridgeSource Global (Pty) Ltd or are used with permission.

Third-party trademarks, vehicle names and manufacturer references remain the property of their respective owners. Their use identifies compatibility or product application and does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

Our store uses services provided by Shopify, Yoco, couriers, suppliers and other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

  1. AVAILABILITY AND INTERRUPTIONS

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website. Maintenance, technical failures, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.

  1. LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeSource Auto is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for defective goods, gross negligence, fraud, personal injury or statutory consumer rights.

  1. INDEMNITY

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss caused by your unlawful use of the website, fraudulent conduct, material breach of these Terms or deliberate infringement of another person’s rights.

  1. PRIVACY

Personal information is processed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

  1. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms when our products, operations, service providers or legal obligations change. The updated Terms will apply from the date published and will not retrospectively remove rights from an order already accepted.

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes may be referred to an appropriate court, regulator, ombud or consumer-protection body with jurisdiction.
